Actions speak louder than words, and recent actions by Hardyston’s entrenched Republican Club leadership reveal a troubling agenda. While most club members are dedicated to our community, a few at the top seem focused on gaining power at any cost, using tactics that mislead and distort the truth about our schools.
Their approach is less about serving the community and more about controlling the narrative. They’ve downplayed the school’s achievements—improvements in academics, safety, and the dedication of staff—while manipulating facts to align with their agenda. Even more concerning is their willingness to pressure others to fit their goals. Ron Hoffman, for instance, was pushed out of the club simply because he chose a non-partisan, student-focused campaign, challenging their desire for control.
This behavior does not represent all club members, many of whom genuinely care about Hardyston’s future. It’s the leadership’s actions that are worrisome, prioritizing influence over transparency, fair representation, and the well-being of our students.
We deserve leaders who put education, safety, and opportunity above partisan power plays. Let’s choose those who prioritize Hardyston’s students and families—not political control. It’s time for a change.
